“I’ve never been about boring training.”

After spending around 20 years working in coffee and hospitality, I’ve seen first-hand how important good training is, and how quickly people switch off when it becomes boring or feels like a box-ticking exercise.

I’ve always believed that the more people engage with their training, the more they take away from it. Just because a subject involves compliance, regulations or workplace responsibilities doesn’t mean the learning experience has to be dull. My approach is practical, relaxed and engaging, creating an environment where people feel comfortable getting involved, asking questions and building real confidence.

For me, great training isn’t about standing at the front of a room and talking at people. It’s about making the subject relevant, encouraging participation and helping learners leave feeling they’ve gained skills they can genuinely use.

“Great training starts by putting learners first.”

Since starting my career in further education in 2007, I’ve been passionate about helping people improve their skills and confidence. Progressing into quality and compliance roles gave me a strong understanding of the challenges organisations face, but my belief has always stayed the same: learning should be practical, engaging, relevant and fun.

I’ve delivered training to thousands of learners across all industries, so I know the best training isn’t just about sharing information. It’s about creating a supportive environment where people feel comfortable participating, asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.

Whether I’m delivering First Aid, Mental Health, Excel, Power BI or workplace compliance training, my approach is always interactive, practical and learner-focused. My aim is simple: enjoyable learning that leaves people confident, capable and ready to put their new skills into practice.
