Essential first aid skills for the workplace
The one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course provides essential practical training for employees who may need to respond to an accident, injury or medical emergency within the workplace.
Designed to develop confidence as well as practical ability, the course teaches learners how to assess an emergency situation, provide immediate first aid and respond appropriately until further medical assistance is available.
Learners develop hands-on skills including CPR, using an AED, managing an unresponsive casualty, treating choking, controlling bleeding and recognising shock.
The course is particularly suitable where an organisation’s first aid needs assessment identifies Emergency First Aid at Work as an appropriate level of training.

CERTIFICATION
FAIB certificate, valid for 3 years
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Full attendance is required and you’ll be assessed throughout the course. You’ll need to be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR.
