Course overview
First Aid at Work Requalification is a two-day, FAIB-accredited course (about 12 hours) for people who hold a current First Aid at Work certificate. It renews the qualification for another three years and must be booked before the certificate expires.

The two-day First Aid at Work Requalification course is designed for existing First Aid at Work first aiders who need to renew their qualification and show that their knowledge and practical skills remain current.
The course revisits the essential skills covered in the full First Aid at Work programme, giving learners the chance to refresh their knowledge, practise key techniques and review any updates to first aid guidance.
Learners revisit areas including CPR, AED use, casualty assessment, bleeding control, unconscious casualties, workplace injuries and major medical emergencies.
Through practical exercises and assessment, delegates rebuild their confidence and make sure they remain prepared to respond effectively when first aid is needed.

An individual place is £140 per person. Open courses are coming soon, with the venue confirmed when dates are announced. We can also train up to 12 of your team at your workplace for £845 per group.
No. The three-hour Annual Refresher keeps your skills current between qualifications, but it doesn’t renew or extend a certificate. To renew your First Aid at Work qualification, you need the Requalification course.
Yes. Full attendance is required and you’ll be assessed throughout the course. You’ll need to be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR.

We deliver on site at your workplace across Nottingham, Derby and the wider East Midlands. Individual places run at a training venue, and we confirm the location when you enquire.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move and kneel in, as the course includes plenty of practical floor work. You’ll kneel on the floor to practise CPR. If an injury or medical condition may affect this, tell us before the course and we’ll talk it through with you.
