Mental Health Awareness is a half-day, FAIB-accredited course (about 3.5 hours) that helps employees recognise signs that someone may be struggling and point them to support. It runs on site or online, and the certificate is valid for three years.
Build a better understanding of mental health
The half-day Mental Health Awareness course provides an accessible introduction to mental health and its impact on individuals in the workplace.
Designed for employees at all levels, the course helps learners develop greater awareness of mental health, recognise possible signs that someone may be struggling and understand the impact stigma can have on people experiencing mental ill-health.
Learners also explore how someone experiencing difficulties can access appropriate help and support.
This practical and engaging course is ideal for organisations looking to increase mental health awareness and encourage a more open and supportive workplace culture.

Start the conversation
Supporting mental health does not mean employees need to become mental health professionals.
Greater awareness can simply help people recognise possible concerns, respond with understanding and know where appropriate support can be found.
Giving your team a basic understanding of mental health can be an important first step towards a more open, informed and supportive workplace.
