Last updated: 19 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all training courses, workshops, webinars and related services provided by H2H Training Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By booking, attending, purchasing or procuring any course or service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you are booking as a consumer (an individual acting wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession), nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

We are a FAIB Registered Training Provider and deliver relevant first aid training in accordance with applicable First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) requirements.
H2H Training Ltd is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on our prices.
2. Course Information
Before booking, customers should review the information available on our website, quotation, booking page or course information pack. Course information may include:
- Course title and description
- Learning outcomes
- Course duration
- Delivery method and location
- Course fees
- Entry, assessment and certification requirements
- Practical participation requirements
- Any other information relevant to the course
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course content, trainers, venues, delivery methods, schedules, timings or materials where necessary. We may substitute any trainer with another suitably qualified trainer where reasonably necessary.
Where a significant change is made, we will notify affected customers as soon as reasonably practicable. If the change is significant and you no longer wish to attend, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
3. Course Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability. Bookings may be made through our website, by email, by telephone, by accepting a quotation, by purchase order, by booking form or by any other method agreed by us.
A booking is confirmed only when we have issued written confirmation and either payment has been received in full or a written invoice arrangement has been agreed.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where reasonably necessary, including where inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information has been supplied. If we cancel a booking for this reason, we will refund any fees paid.
For corporate bookings, the organisation making the booking is responsible for providing accurate learner information and ensuring participants are aware of course requirements.
4. Course Fees and Payment
Course fees are those stated on our website, quotation, proposal, booking confirmation or other written communication at the time the booking is made. As we are not currently VAT registered, no VAT is added to our fees.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made before the course start date.
Where payment by invoice has been agreed, payment must be received within 30 days of the invoice date or before the course start date, whichever is sooner.
We reserve the right to suspend, postpone or cancel any booking where payment remains outstanding. We may withhold joining instructions, course materials, attendance confirmations, certificates, training records and any other deliverables until payment has been received in full.
Business customers may be charged interest on overdue accounts in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, together with any reasonable costs incurred in recovering outstanding sums.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
If you are a consumer, your statutory right to cancel within 14 days (see section 23) applies first. The rules below apply to all other cancellations.
Individual places on scheduled courses
- More than 14 days before the course start date: full refund, or a free transfer to another date.
- 7 to 14 days before the course start date: a free transfer to another date, or a 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before the course start date: no refund, but you can send someone else in your place free of charge, or transfer to another date for a £25 administration fee, subject to availability.
On-site and group bookings
- More than 14 days before the course date: free of charge, or we will rearrange the date at no cost.
- 7 to 14 days before the course date: 50% of the course fee is payable.
- Less than 7 days before the course date: the full course fee is payable.
For on-site and group bookings, we will also always offer to rearrange the date instead, where we can. Any non-refundable costs we have already paid on your behalf, such as venue hire, may also be charged.
Cancellations must be made in writing to info@h2htraining.co.uk. Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method within 14 days.
In exceptional circumstances we may, at our discretion, offer a transfer, a credit note, a partial refund or another reasonable arrangement.
6. Course Transfers and Delegate Substitutions
You may ask to transfer your booking to another course date by contacting us in writing. Transfers are subject to availability, course suitability and any difference in fees. Only one transfer will normally be permitted per booking.
Substitute delegates may attend in place of the original delegate free of charge, provided we are given reasonable advance notice and the substitute meets any relevant course requirements.
7. Non-Attendance
Failure to attend a course without telling us beforehand will normally be treated as a cancellation on the day, and no refund will be due.
Where non-attendance results from illness, bereavement, emergency or other exceptional circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer a transfer to another course date.
8. Cancellation or Postponement by H2H Training Ltd
We make every reasonable effort to deliver training as advertised. However, we may need to cancel, postpone or reschedule training, for example because of trainer illness or unavailability, venue issues, insufficient participant numbers, equipment failure, severe weather, transport disruption, public health emergencies or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel or postpone a course, you can choose either a transfer to another available date or a full refund of the fees paid for the affected course.
Except where required by law, we are not responsible for any consequential costs you incur, including accommodation, travel, childcare or loss of earnings.
9. Customer Responsibilities for On-Site Training
Where training is delivered at premises provided by a customer, the customer is responsible for ensuring:
- A safe training environment
- Compliance with applicable health and safety requirements
- A suitable room size and facilities, including enough clear floor space for practical work
- Reasonable access to any equipment that has been agreed
- Freedom from unreasonable disruption
We may suspend, postpone or end training where we reasonably believe health, safety or effective course delivery may be compromised. Where this happens because the customer has not met these responsibilities, we may charge the full course fee together with any reasonable costs incurred.
10. Course Attendance
Learners are expected to arrive on time, attend for the full course, take part appropriately, follow trainer instructions, complete practical activities and assessments, behave respectfully and comply with health and safety requirements.
For virtual courses, learners are responsible for having suitable internet access, a suitable device, the appropriate software and a suitable environment to take part.
Technical difficulties experienced by participants that are outside our reasonable control will not normally entitle the participant to a refund. Late arrival or missing substantial parts of a course may prevent successful completion or certification.
11. Assessment and Certification
Successful completion of a course is not based on attendance alone. Where assessment is required, participants must meet all applicable assessment criteria. Certificates will only be issued where learners have successfully met the relevant course requirements.
We may delay, withhold or refuse certification where assessment or attendance requirements have not been met, payment remains outstanding, or there is a legitimate concern about the validity or integrity of the assessment process.
Training and certification records are kept in line with FAIB requirements and our Privacy Policy.
12. FAIB Requirements
We are a FAIB Registered Training Provider. Relevant first aid courses are delivered in accordance with applicable FAIB requirements covering course delivery, training standards, trainer competence, assessment, certification, record keeping, quality assurance, monitoring and inspection.
13. Mental Health and Wellbeing Training
Mental health and wellbeing training is educational. Nothing delivered during our courses is medical, psychological or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, treatment or counselling, and taking part does not guarantee any particular mental health outcome. Participants should seek support from qualified healthcare professionals where needed.
Learners are not required to disclose personal mental health information during training. Where personal experiences are discussed, trainers will encourage respectful participation and appropriate boundaries.
Participants should respect the confidentiality of discussions during training and should not share personal information disclosed by other participants, except where safeguarding, legal or safety obligations require it.
14. Accessibility and Reasonable Adjustments
We are committed to delivering accessible and inclusive training. If you need reasonable adjustments, please contact us as early as possible before the course and we will discuss suitable arrangements.
Some first aid training includes physical activities such as CPR practice, kneeling and casualty simulations. Please tell us before the course about any medical condition, injury, disability or other circumstance that may affect your ability to take part safely, so that reasonable adjustments can be considered. Participants are responsible for deciding whether they are fit to take part in practical activities and should seek medical advice where necessary.
15. Learner Behaviour
We expect participants to behave respectfully towards trainers, staff and fellow learners. We may remove any participant without refund where their behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful or inappropriate, creates a health or safety risk, seriously disrupts training, prevents others from taking part, or breaches reasonable instructions.
16. Intellectual Property
All course materials, presentations, workbooks, assessments, handouts, templates, recordings, certificates, videos, images and other resources remain the intellectual property of H2H Training Ltd or the relevant rights holder.
Materials are provided solely for personal learning or for the internal business purposes of the purchasing organisation. Without our prior written permission, materials must not be copied, reproduced, shared, distributed, published, modified, used to create derivative works, used to deliver training, sold, licensed, commercially exploited, or uploaded into generative AI systems, large language models, machine learning platforms or automated content generation tools.
Attending a course does not transfer any intellectual property rights.
17. Privacy and Data Protection
We process personal information in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights.
18. Recording and Photography
We may occasionally photograph or record training sessions for quality assurance, educational, regulatory or administrative purposes. We will always tell participants beforehand. We will only use photographs or recordings in which you can be identified for promotional purposes, such as on our website or social media, with your written consent.
Participants must not photograph, record, livestream, film or reproduce any part of a course without our prior written consent, and must not publish images or recordings of other attendees without their consent.
19. Complaints
We are committed to providing high-quality training. If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please email info@h2htraining.co.uk as soon as possible, explaining what happened.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to give you a full response within 28 days. If we need longer, we will let you know why and keep you updated.
Complaints about assessment or certification may also be referred to FAIB in line with its procedures.
20. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
If you are a consumer, we provide our services with reasonable care and skill, and nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms & Conditions or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
If you are a business customer, then subject to the above and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, contracts, goodwill, reputation or anticipated savings, and our total liability arising from any booking, course or training service will not exceed the total fees paid for that training service.
Training outcomes depend on individual circumstances, participation and how learning is applied. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, professional advancement, organisational compliance, recognition of a qualification by third parties, business performance or any specific personal or commercial result.
21. Survival
Any provision of these Terms & Conditions that by its nature is intended to continue after a booking, course or service ends will continue to apply, including the sections on fees and payment, intellectual property, privacy and data protection, recording and photography, complaints, limitation of liability, consumer cancellation rights and governing law.
22. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as flood, fire, severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, industrial disputes, government restrictions, transport disruption, utility, telecommunications or supplier failures, cyber incidents, venue unavailability, or trainer illness or unavailability. Where this happens, we will tell affected customers as soon as reasonably practicable and offer to reschedule, or a full refund for any training we cannot deliver.
23. Consumer Cancellation Rights
This section applies only to consumers.
If you book online, by email or by telephone, you have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of the day we confirm it, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund. To cancel, email info@h2htraining.co.uk or contact us in any other clear way.
If your course starts within this 14-day period, we will ask you to confirm that you want the training to go ahead. If you then cancel within the 14 days, we may charge a proportionate amount for any training already provided. Once the training has been fully delivered, the right to cancel ends.
Where digital content, such as an online learning module, is supplied before the 14-day period ends and you have agreed to this, your right to cancel the digital content ends once access or download begins.
Refunds due under these rights will be made to the original payment method within 14 days.
24. Other Important Terms
If a court finds any part of these Terms & Conditions unlawful, the rest will continue in full force. Only you and we have rights under these Terms & Conditions, and no other person may enforce them. If we delay in enforcing any of our rights, we can still enforce them later.
25. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
We may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the version in force on the date your booking is confirmed, unless a change is required by law. The latest version will always be available on our website.
26. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with them, except that if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
